In cooperation with the University of Science and Technology, we participated as a sponsor of the Food 2024 conference at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
The conference “Food technology, food quality” was held on 8 February 2024 in the building of the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the CAS, Vídeňská 1083, Prague 4 and continued the tradition of the Canning and Food Days, in the professional provision of which the Institute of Food Preservation, VŠCHT Prague regularly participated.
The original content dedicated mainly to the problems of food preservation was enriched by the conference organizers with the topics of food quality in a broader context. The development of new technologies and products is an issue of competitiveness for the food industry and the role of research teams is not negligible in this area.
Therefore, the conference is addressed not only to researchers, but also to food industry personnel, governmental professionals and other interested parties. The joint conference creates an opportunity not only to broaden awareness of current topics in food research, but also helps to strengthen cooperation between the research and application spheres.
